Sinop, the northernmost settlement in Turkey, provides Aegean air with its geographical and coastal waters in the Black Sea. Sinop Airport, which is only open for domestic flights, welcomes about 65,000 passengers per year. Despite this fact, the airport is not very well developed. There is one café and one restaurant at the airport. Within the terminal are offices of airline companies and check-in counters.

The municipal buses depart from Çanakkale Airport and respectively pass through Troya Caddesi, Eski Tansaş, Atatürk Caddesi, Demircioğlu Caddesi, İskele, Kordon and Necippaşa Camii.
