Taxi

It takes, on average, 20 minutes to reach the city center from the airport when you use a private taxi. But as the taxi meters are often turned off, you should negotiate or confirm the price with the taxi driver ahead of time.

Bus

Taking the bus number 98, which leaves from the departures gate of the airport, can bring you to the city center in about 40 minutes. The average ticket price is 120.00 Jamaican Dollars and buses depart every twenty minutes.
