Trains operate every day of the week and run every 10 minutes. A train from the airport to the city center takes about 20 minutes.

There is a Metrolink station at the airport for those who want to take the tram to the city center. The tram is accessible from The Station and provides convenient transportation to the city. Trams operates every day of the week and run every 12-15 minutes and provide comfortable transportation to many parts of the city.

Bicycle

Manchester Airport places great emphasis on the use of bicycles as an environmentally friendly transportation alternative. There are designated bike paths between the airport and the city center and special parking areas for bicycles at the airport. Thanks to these paths and cycle bays passengers can ride their bikes to and from the airport.

Rental Car

Another transportation alternative to get to the city is by rental car. Renting a car is also a great way to get around in the city and explore the surrounding areas during your trip. There are various rental car offices located at the airport. Since the airport is located 15 km away, you can enjoy a comfortable drive to the city center.
