Tribhuvan International Airport is the only international airport from where Kathmandu’s, as well as whole Nepal's international flights are made. The airport has shuttle buses with eight different routes. With these buses you can go to the city center as well as to the central railway station or the main bus station. Bus

There are eleven different bus lines departing from the airport to different points of the city as well as to distanced areas. Ticket prices range from 30 to 128 RMB depending on distance. Taxi

After leaving the luggage delivery areas of Terminals 2 and 3, you can easily get to the taxis by following the taxi stand signs. Taxi fares vary according to the car's engine volume and day-night tariff. The daytime opening fare for all taxis is 9 RMB, while it is 10 RMB between 23:00 and 06:00. The cost per mile varies between 2 and 2.4 RMB depending on engine size. Since taxi fares should be paid in RMB, be sure to carry enough foreign currency.
