Havaş

Havaş shuttles that take off from Çeşme, Alsancak, Karşıyaka-Mavişehir and Kuşadası are the most preferred means of transportation to the airport.

In addition, if you want to go shopping you can visit the Old Bazaar, Gift Shops, Desa, Alsancak, Toyzz Shop, D&R, Samsonite, Simpark Tobacco Shop, Duty Free Shop and Setur stores.   

Passengers who want to spend time in the terminal can explore the exhibition at the TAV Gallery in the international departures hall or watch TV and connect to the internet while enjoying food and beverage service at the Comfort Lounge or Millenium Lounge.

You can rent a car at the airport for travelling to the city center from Thyna Airport which is 8 kilometers away from Sfax which is located in Tunisia. You can also get on one of the airport taxis waiting for their passengers in front of the airport terminal. It is possible to reach Sfax city center in about 15 minutes by taxi. Taxi is the most practical and economic transportation option for travelling to the city center from the airport since the distance is close. However, if you want to discover the nearby places or travel to different cities from the airport, you can prefer renting a car. International car rental companies are in the service of Sfax passengers with their offices at the airport. If you need to travel with more than three passengers or if you have heavy luggage, you can prefer using a transfer vehicle for travelling to the center from the airport by making a reservation in advance.

You can travel to the city center by finding a taxi without having a problem. In front of Thyna Airport, there are many taxis especially during the hours of flights. The fare that you will pay for travelling to Sfax city center doesn’t generally increase too much.
