Havaş

Havaş shuttles that take off from Çeşme, Alsancak, Karşıyaka-Mavişehir and Kuşadası are the most preferred means of transportation to the airport.

Cafes, bars and restaurants located in the terminal include Cafe İzmir, Cafe Nero, Express-o Busgate, Express-o Hava, Express-o Kara, Gloria Jean's Cafe, Kantin, Ekmekarası Café, Beer Port Bar, Burger King, and Ton-Ton.

In addition, if you want to go shopping you can visit the Old Bazaar, Gift Shops, Desa, Alsancak, Toyzz Shop, D&R, Samsonite, Simpark Tobacco Shop, Duty Free Shop and Setur stores.

Benito Juarez International Airport is located 10 km from downtown Mexico City. There are a variety of transportation alternatives available to get to the city from the airport. You can get to the city center from the airport by public transportation, such as the metro and metrobus, as well as other transportation alternatives like taxis, shuttles, and rental cars. 

Public Transportation

Public transportation alternatives, like the metro and metrobus, provide convenient and quick transportation from the airport to almost every part of the city. Metro Line 5 departs from the Terminal Aerea Station, which is a short distance from the airport. Metro Line 5 provides transportation to the city and access to other metro lines and bus stops. Metrobus Line 4 provides transportation directly from the airport to the city center. The metrobus is accessible from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The metrobus passes by major stops along the way where passengers can transfer to the metro or regional buses. From Mexico City International Airport the fee for the metrobus is 30 pesos per person, per ride. Keep in mind that the metro and metrobus can get quite crowded, especially during rush hour. Taxis are a more expensive options when compared to public transportation but they are more comfortable and convenient. Taxis fares are affordable in general.
