Gan Island is located on Addu Atoll, in the south of Maldives, and it is the second largest island of Atoll. However, it has a population of about 1,100 people. The island is also home to the only international airport of Atoll and has wonderful beaches and natural beauties.

Gan International Airport is just 1 kilometer of the city center. You can reach the city center by bus. If you will accommodate on other islands of Addu Atoll instead of Gan Island, you can use a speedboat for getting to the city center. You can get on a taxi for getting to the port where the speedboats depart. The distance between the port and airport is only 700 meters.

Bus

Bus is another alternative you can use to get to the city center. There are bus stops in front of the exit of arriving passenger terminal of the airport. You can comfortably get to the city center by bus.
