Known as the capital of Tajikistan located in Central Asia, Dushanbe is a special city with its rich cultural heritage, authentic architecture and cosmopolitanism. Dushanbe Airport hosts passengers who want to travel to this city.

The region known as the city center of Dushanbe, which is situated at the confluence of the two rivers Varzob and Kofarnihon, covers Rudaki Avenue and the nearby Rudaki Park. Bus

Buses have a highly comprehensive transportation network throughout the city; however, they don’t offer a direct transportation option to the airport. There are sixteen bus routes operating in the city. You can get to the railway station by using bus routes 3A and 23.

Trolleybus

By getting on a public transportation vehicle or taxi from your location in the city, you can arrive at A. Donish, S. Ayni, A. Rudaki, Somoni and N. Mahsumov stations. From here, you can get on trolleybus routes 2 or 4 and directly arrive at the airport. Trolleybuses have a key importance in urban transportation. Although they have fewer routes than buses, trolleybuses are more affordable than buses.

There are eight trolleybus routes, including 1, 24, 5, 8, 10, 12 and 14, which operate throughout Dushanbe.

Trolleybus route 1 takes passengers to S. Ayni Culture Park and Railway Station, route 9 and 10 to Obshoron region, route 11 to S. Ayni Culture Park and Somoni regions and route 12 to shopping center and Gulbutta regions.

Train

By using lines 3 and 4, you can get to the railway station which is close to the airport.

Minibus (Marshrutka)

Known as Marshrutka in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, minibuses are a very useful public transportation alternatives in Dushanbe. Although the minibuses have a wide transportation network, they are more crowded compared to other public transportation such as buses, trolleys and buses; also, minibuses demand higher amounts than trolleybuses.

To arrive at the airport by using minibuses, you need to get to A. Donish, Nazarshoev, Rudaki, S. Ayni, S. Sherozi and N. Carabo regions by using a public transportation vehicle or by taking a taxi. It is possible to directly get to the airport by using the minibus route 33 passing through these regions.

Routes 1, 3, 17 and 29 are among the minibus routes providing transportation opportunity in the city. By using route 3 you can travel to the railway station.

Shared Taxi

There are shared taxis operating between certain regions in the city. Travelling with these vehicles are comfortable and budget-friendly. If you are near Karabolo or 82nd district of the city, you can get to the airport by getting on shared taxi route 8 departing from Rudaki, Somoni and US Embassy regions.

Taxi

Using a taxi in Dushanbe is a useful alternative contrary to many other cities. Taxis, contrary to what is believed, can be more suitable for your budget. If you are travelling as a crowded group, it can be more affordable to use a taxi instead of public transportation vehicle.

Car Rental

Another comfortable and quick option for travelling in the city is car rental. You can rent your car from various car rental companies located in the city, or you can make a reservation online before your flight. By 2015, the offices where you can rent a bicycle in the city have also started to provide service for visitors.

Airport Information

Having the capacity of hosting 200 passengers per hour, Dushanbe International Airport continue enhancing its facilities. Located in the southeast of the city, the airport is not very close to the city center.

At the airport, there are special areas offering more comfortable services for VIP and CIP guests. As you can spend good time in one of the restaurants, cafes, fast food shops and bars found in the terminal, it is also possible to do shopping at Duty Free stores where you can buy high-quality products at reasonable prices without paying taxes.

The distance between Mogilev Airport and Mogilev, which is one of the historical cities of Belarus and whose population mainly consists of students, is 19.6 kilometers. The airport is connected to the city center with the highway M4. You can easily arrive at the city center by using a taxi, bus or trolleybus. Renting a car is also among the options.

Taxi

Taxi fares are generally affordable in Mogilev. Compared to the means of public transportation, taxi is a much more comfortable transportation alternative. You can get information about the average fare of travelling to the city center by talking to the driver before getting on the taxi.

Bus

The bus route 205 is the only bus route providing transportation between Mogilev city center and Mogilev Airport. You can find these buses when you walk for a while from the terminal. The closest stop to the airport is the Lubnishe stop which is approximately 2 kilometers away. If you have much luggage, you can get on a taxi to reach the bus stop. The ticket price of this bus route is 6.3 BR and it offers service until 05:15 pm.

Trolleybus

Trolleybus, which has an important role in urban transportation of many cities in the country, offers a nostalgic atmosphere for its passengers as well as its functionality. Trolleybus passes through a stop that is close to Mogilev Airport. You can reach the stop by walking and it is about 1 kilometers away from the airport terminal. Trolleybuses offer service from 07:10 am to 07:00 pm. They depart every 40 minutes. The ticket price of these vehicles is also 6.3 BR. You can buy your ticket from the stop, driver or ticket conductor.

Car Rental

Car rental companies don’t have their offices at the airport. If you want to provide your transportation to the city center by renting a car, you need to make a reservation in advance for a suitable vehicle. In this way, your vehicle can be ready at the airport when you arrive at the airport. You can reach the city center in about 20 minutes by following the directions or using a navigation device.

Airport Information

Mogilev Airport is one of the medium-sized airports of Belarus and it is located 20 kilometers away from the city center. Only charter flights are organized from the airport and transportation to the city center is provided by using the highway M4. You can park your car on the 50-meter parking area in front of the airport by paying 1 USD. You can benefit from the free Wi-Fi service at the airport. The airport has a single terminal and there is a small restaurant selling snacks and drinks.
