Even if it does not reach the airport yet, you can get off at the Abbasiye station and complete the 15 kilometers distance by taxi or bus number 111. It is also possible to reach the airport by buses 27, 111, 356 from Tahrir Square where Sedat metro station is located.

Private Vehicle

Although it is a great merit to use private vehicles in Cairo, which is similar to Istanbul with regards to its traffic and size, there may be people who want to reach the airport by private vehicles. To do this, you have to follow the Oroba road, in the east direction, to go to the airport from Zamalek island and Tahrir in the city center.

Oroba route will take you to Airport Road, which will provide you with access to the airport, after 17 kilometers.

Taxi

Eldoret International Airport is located 16 kilometers south of Eldoret city center and is located on the Eldoret - Kisumu road. The airport is especially preferred as a way transportation to nearby tourist destinations and passengers who have just arrived at the airport can easily find a taxi in front of the terminal and travel directly to Eldoret city center in approximately 20-25 minutes. Those who choose to travel to Eldoret by taxi can benefit by only paying an average of 800 Kenyan Shilling. Another advantage of taxis at Eldoret International Airport is that they can be found even late at night, but if you do not see a taxi in front of the airport terminal, you can ask at the information desk to call a taxi.

Bus

Buses at Eldoret International Airport are more affordable compared to taxis, but the journey may take a little longer to get to the city of Eldoret by bus and the buses usually do not have fixed times. During the day until evening you have the chance to travel to the center by bus from Eldoret Airport. The bus fare from the airport to the center of Eldoret is only around 30 Kenyan shilling.

Rent a Car

Due to the fact that the airport is not too far from the city center of Eldoret, renting a car is a costly alternative for those who only want to travel to the center.
