Even if it does not reach the airport yet, you can get off at the Abbasiye station and complete the 15 kilometers distance by taxi or bus number 111. It is also possible to reach the airport by buses 27, 111, 356 from Tahrir Square where Sedat metro station is located.

Private Vehicle

Although it is a great merit to use private vehicles in Cairo, which is similar to Istanbul with regards to its traffic and size, there may be people who want to reach the airport by private vehicles. To do this, you have to follow the Oroba road, in the east direction, to go to the airport from Zamalek island and Tahrir in the city center.

Oroba route will take you to Airport Road, which will provide you with access to the airport, after 17 kilometers.

The airport, in the Heliopolis area, is the second airport in Africa with regards to passenger traffic. With the completion of the newly constructed terminals, there are also many possibilities offered for those waiting for their flight.

Taxi

It might be a bit difficult to find a taxi at Anthony Lagoon Airport since it is not a frequently used airport. Those passengers landing to the airport might take a taxi among those waiting at the terminal from time to time in line with the flight landing hours or choose a means of transportation to get to the city center among the alternatives by consulting the information desk.
