Airport Transfer

Al Dock, Opera, Sedat (Tahrir) and Naguib are the metro stations close to the center.

You need to transfer to the Green Line at Attaba station from Yellow Line, which hosts the above mentioned stations.

Even if it does not reach the airport yet, you can get off at the Abbasiye station and complete the 15 kilometers distance by taxi or bus number 111. It is also possible to reach the airport by buses 27, 111, 356 from Tahrir Square where Sedat metro station is located.

Private Vehicle

Although it is a great merit to use private vehicles in Cairo, which is similar to Istanbul with regards to its traffic and size, there may be people who want to reach the airport by private vehicles. To do this, you have to follow the Oroba road, in the east direction, to go to the airport from Zamalek island and Tahrir in the city center.

Oroba route will take you to Airport Road, which will provide you with access to the airport, after 17 kilometers.

Skybus Express (Airport Bus)

Airport buses, which are among the most preferred options for getting to the city center from Albury Airport, operate every 30 minutes and carry passengers to the terminal located in the city center. The fares are slightly higher than other buses. Skybus Express buses cost 15 dollars per person. Apart from Skybus Express, there are many bus routes that provide transportation to the city center from the airport. The pricing of these buses varies depending on the usage time of your ticket.
