Since the city is rich in oil, fuel is cheap, making traveling by car a very attractive option. Getting to the city center from the airport is very easy. One of the city’s most important avenues, Heydar Aliyev Avenue will connect you to the Boyuk Shor Highway, which goes to the airport. From the highway take the Airport exit. The airport contains indoor and outdoor parking lots where you can park your personal car for a certain fee.

It can be said that the distance between the city center and airport which connects the city and nearby places to the world is not very long. Therefore, it doesn’t cost much to travel to the city center from the airport. Transportation alternatives that can be offered to the passengers travelling to the center from Lome Airport are taxis, private shuttles which are very comfortable and car rental. It is very easy to find a taxi in front of the terminal and it is one of the comfortable options. You can rent a car from the local companies located throughout Lome.
