Taxi

Airport Information

Publicly known as Algiers International Airport, Houari Boumediene International Airport is located 20 kilometers southeast of Algeria. The airport serves its passengers with two terminal buildings, one for domestic flights and one for international flights.

In addition to restaurants and cafés, there are various services such as pharmacy, bookstore, hairdresser, currency exchange office and ATM at the airport. There a lounge available for passengers who don't want to sacrifice their comfort while waiting for their flight. If you need to do shopping, you can visit the duty-free store and souvenir shops. Tripoli International Airport is not close to the city center. There is also no public transport from the airport. For this reason, you may want to ask to be picked up from the airport if you know someone in Tripoli. If you do not have someone who can pick you up, you can rent a car or take a taxi. Almost all of the limited number of accommodation centers in the city offer airport shuttle service. You can request a shuttle service to the airport in advance. Just remember that there is another airport in the city and make sure that your hotel understands which airport you will be going to.
