Sakirpaşa Airport is also open to international flights; the International Terminal, which has a capacity of 6 million passengers, came into service in 1997 and the Domestic Terminal came into service in 1984. There are well-known car rental companies offering service at the airport. You can easily rent a car from the Car Rental Center located in Terminal 1. You can reach Wiesbaden city center by driving westward through the highway A3 or A66 with the car you have rented. Travelling to the city center by renting a car lasts about 20-25 minutes.

Train

You can easily get to Wiesbaden Central Railway Station by using the train routes S8 and S9 of S-Bahn. You can get on one of these trains from Terminal 1. The trains depart every 15 minutes and the travel lasts about 35-40 minutes. The trains offer a more budget-friendly transportation compared to taxis or rental cars. Since they are also very comfortable, they are among the most preferred transportation alternatives for many passengers.
