Sakirpaşa Airport is also open to international flights; the International Terminal, which has a capacity of 6 million passengers, came into service in 1997 and the Domestic Terminal came into service in 1984. The airport is connected to the city with a newly built railway line. You can reach anywhere in the center of Saratov in about 40 minutes by using the special express service from the airport to Saratov Railway Terminal or the train lines going to the central points of the city. The railway line is planned to be developed in the next years, and the lines and routes that you can use are as follows:

Bus

You can take the bus route 101i to reach Saratov central bus station in about 80 minutes. This bus route, which passes through many important streets and boulevards of the city, offers service for its passengers between 07:45 am and 10:45 pm.

You can also reach Balakovo and Volsk by using the bus route 605 from Gagarin International Airport. This bus route provides transportation to Balakovo at 07:00 am and 01:00 pm and Volsk city between 07:50 am and 01:50 pm.

The terminal taxis, where you will see their stops in front of the airport entry and exit gates, offer service for their passengers 24/7, and you can get to any point in Saratov city center in a short time by using a taxi.
