Municipality Buses

You can reach the airport from the city center by bus number 135, which runs hourly between 6 am and 7 pm every day from the airport and Çukurova University points. You can get on the bus through the Turhan Cemal Beriker Boulevard in the city center as well as you can do so by transferring through the city’s only metro line ‘Akıncılar-Hospital’.

Minibus – Dolmush

In order to arrive at the airport, you can also use the minibus option, which is the more commonly used vehicle in the transportation from the airport to the city center. You can get to Şakirpaşa Airport from the city center by using the City Center minibus line passing through the boulevards of Girne and Turhan Cemil Beriker in the city center.

Your Own Car

You will reach Barış Boulevard about 3 kilometers later if you drive through Turhan Cemil Beriker Boulevard. The Barış Boulevard will directly take you to the airport. It takes about 10 minutes to reach the airport from the city center by your own car.

Taxi

Taxi is one of the fastest and most economical ways to get to the airport from the city center. You can reach the airport at an affordable price by taxi from the many parts of Adana, though it is not as cheap as taking a bus.

Airport Information

Sakirpaşa Airport is also open to international flights; the International Terminal, which has a capacity of 6 million passengers, came into service in 1997 and the Domestic Terminal came into service in 1984. Despite the potential of the passengers, the airport offers limited facilities to spend time.

For the passengers who use the international terminal, there are two restaurants and two buffets, one of which is in the clean area as well as a duty-free shop. There is a buffet in the domestic terminal and a café in the clean area. Besides, you can enjoy the famous tastes of Adana by leaving the airport, which is 4.5 kilometers away from the city center or you can spend your time in the city before going to the airport.

Guanghua Airport in Guanghua, China takes its name from the city in which it is located. It’s an important airport that has private airplanes, air taxis, and commercial flights. To get from Guanghua Airport to Guanghua city centre, you can take a taxi, bus, rent a car, or take the train or metro, where you will need to change.

Taxi

You can reserve your taxi, that will take you from the airport to the city, online before your arrival. The driver will meet you after your landing and take you to the city centre for the price you agreed on. Or, you can take one of the taxis that are in front of the airline terminal.

Bus

You can get to the city by taking one of the bus services that go to and from the airport and the city centre. You can get the bus from the stops in front of the terminals without waiting for too long.  

Train – Metro

In order to use the train or metro from the nearby stop of Jinjiang Inn Danjiangkou, you need to get a taxi from Guanghua Airport. The distance between the train station and the airport is approximately 25 kilometres.

You can reserve a car online before your journey, or from established agencies such as Hertz or Budget, from the airport. You can ask the hotel you’re staying at to ask if they have any car rental reservation services.
