Municipality Buses

You can reach the airport from the city center by bus number 135, which runs hourly between 6 am and 7 pm every day from the airport and Çukurova University points. Taxi is one of the fastest and most economical ways to get to the airport from the city center. You can reach the airport at an affordable price by taxi from the many parts of Adana, though it is not as cheap as taking a bus.

Airport Information

Sakirpaşa Airport is also open to international flights; the International Terminal, which has a capacity of 6 million passengers, came into service in 1997 and the Domestic Terminal came into service in 1984. Despite the potential of the passengers, the airport offers limited facilities to spend time.

For the passengers who use the international terminal, there are two restaurants and two buffets, one of which is in the clean area as well as a duty-free shop. There is a buffet in the domestic terminal and a café in the clean area. Besides, you can enjoy the famous tastes of Adana by leaving the airport, which is 4.5 kilometers away from the city center or you can spend your time in the city before going to the airport.

Cumana Airport can only be reached with rental car and taxi, as there are no means of public transportation that can be used to travel the 17 kilometers distance between the airport and the city. In order to get to the city, you can take a taxi or rent a car.

Taxi drivers who meet passengers at the exit of the terminal building can offer the idea of going to the city center with a group of passengers instead of a single one. If you are alone and you do not have excess luggage, you can go to the city center in a short time by accepting this offer, at more reasonable costs.

It may make sense to rent a car in Cumana because of there are not many public transportation alternatives available. If you are planning to stay in the city for a long time, you can rent a car at very reasonable prices from the airport.
