Airport Information

Sakirpaşa Airport is also open to international flights; the International Terminal, which has a capacity of 6 million passengers, came into service in 1997 and the Domestic Terminal came into service in 1984. Despite the potential of the passengers, the airport offers limited facilities to spend time.

For the passengers who use the international terminal, there are two restaurants and two buffets, one of which is in the clean area as well as a duty-free shop. There is a buffet in the domestic terminal and a café in the clean area. Single-use Skyss bus tickets in 2016 cost 67 Norwegian krone for adults. Cost of daily tickets is 95 krone, while weekly tickets cost 335 krone and tickets valid for 10 times cost 555 krone. Skyss bus tickets need to be purchased at the ticket sales points at the airport.

Taxi

In general, it is not possible to use taxis in Bergen, where taxis are expensive, at distances less than 300 meters. A more expensive fare for night travels and weekends is valid in Bergen in the taxis, which is a quick way to go from airport to city.
