Airport Information

Sakirpaşa Airport is also open to international flights; the International Terminal, which has a capacity of 6 million passengers, came into service in 1997 and the Domestic Terminal came into service in 1984. Despite the potential of the passengers, the airport offers limited facilities to spend time.

For the passengers who use the international terminal, there are two restaurants and two buffets, one of which is in the clean area as well as a duty-free shop. There is a buffet in the domestic terminal and a café in the clean area. If you have come to Albuquerque as a transfer point, you can take the train number 222 to arrive at the big railway station.

Rent a car

You can rent a car for your entire trip by contacting with one of the car rental companies at the airport. You can get to the Gibson Boulevard or Girard Boulevard through the Yale Boulevard by car and go to the city center in 10-12 minutes.

Bus

You can reach the city center within 25 minutes by taking the bus number 50 from the bus stops at the western end of the luggage delivery area. If you want to ride the bus number 36, please note that it stops at many points in the city and reaches the city center in a total of 52 minutes under normal traffic conditions.

Shuttle Service

There are many private companies providing shuttle services at the airport. You can get help from the ‘Ground Transportation’ desk at the passenger terminal if you prefer to go to the city center by these services working with the door-to-door system.
