There are several alternatives that provide transportation between the Abuja city center and the airport. You can reach Abuja Airport from the city center by choosing one of the transportation options such as taxi, taxi motorcycle, bus and rental car.

Hotel Shuttle

Many hotels offer shuttle service during the airport transfer phase. To make use of this possibility, you must contact the hotel authorities in advance and make a reservation. There are many hotels in Abuja city center that provide transfers between the hotel and the airport.

Taxi Motorcycle

Taxi motorcycles, with a capacity of three people, provide access to the airport from the city center. The fare of these vehicles, frequently preferred by passengers who do not have excess luggage, is quite reasonable.

Bus

Buses from the city center reaching the airport in 35 - 40 minutes are frequently used by passengers visiting the city of Abuja. One of the reasons for this is that the bus ticket prices are reasonable and they depart every 20 minutes. You can use these transportation means with daily or monthly tickets. Airport Information

Located 20 kilometers west of Abuja city center, the airport is welcoming many local and foreign visitors. Abuja Airport is accessible from the city center by taxi, bus, rental car or taxi motorcycle. There is a small car park, the offices of car rental companies, a café serving local flavors, a rest room and boutique shops at the airport. The airport serves to meet the safety, comfort and similar needs of the passengers in the best possible conditions.

Adana, which is the largest city in Mediterranean and Eastern Anatolia regions, is the Turkey’s fifth largest city that is connected to the world through Şakirpaşa Airport, which is located in Seyhan district. It is very easy to get to the airport which is 5km away from Yüreğir district, Kayalıbağ and Reşatbey neighborhoods which are accepted as the city center.

Although they are not headed to Adana, there are shuttle services and HAVAŞ buses at the airport. However, these buses only go to Mersin and Hatay.

Municipal Buses

You can reach the city center by riding on the municipality bus number 135 departing from Şakirpaşa Airport, which is located in Seyhan district, the most crowded district of Adana. You can reach the city center, Çukurova University and Turhan Cemal Beriker Boulevard connecting to Girne Boulevard by bus which you can take from the bus stops at the airport.

It is also possible to take the bus number 135 to reach the metro stations running on Akıncılar-Hospital route. The buses run hourly between 6 am and 7 pm every day and departs from the airport and Çukurova University simultaneously.

Minibus – Dolmush

At the airport, you can benefit from the minibus and dolmush transportation, which departs at shorter intervals compared to bus; it is a more preferred option because of the short distance from the airport to the city center. There are two minibus lines as Airport-City Center and Meydan (Square) carrying passengers to the city center. It would not be wrong to say that minibuses and dolmush pass through in a few minutes in both directions.

Taxi

You can also take a taxi at Şakirpaşa Airport to reach the city center along the Seyhan River.  Taxi is not an expensive option, because the airport is close to the city center.

Car

Adana Şakirpaşa Airport also offers various possibilities for those who wish to travel by their own cars in the city. There are 9 car rental offices at the airport including 5 at the Domestic Terminal and 4 at the International Terminal.

The airport also has an outdoor parking area with 569 cars capacity. If you drive through Turhan Cemil Beriker Boulevard following the Barış Boulevard at the exit of the airport, this route leads you to Sabancı Mosque, Girne Boulevard, Yüreğir Coach Station and Adana Archeology Museum in the city center.
