About Kaohsiung

Kaohsiung is Taiwan's second largest city with a population close to 3 million. Located on the shores of the Taiwan Strait, the city has an important place in the country's economy, as well as in trade, politics, transportation, industry, treatment plants and shipbuilding. The city is home to Kaohsiung International Airport, Taiwan's third largest airport, and Kaohsiung Port, the largest sea port in the country.
