About Bergen
Bergen, which is tied to the Hordaland municipality, is a city located on the west coast of Norway. After Oslo it is the second largest city and was founded by King Olav Kyrre. Transportation to Bergen City Center from Airport

Train

From the airport you can take the shuttle bus number 100 and go to Bergen train station in city center for free. Express buses called Skyss Bus have frequent services between Bergen Airport and the city center. Single-use Skyss bus tickets in 2016 cost 67 Norwegian krone for adults. Cost of daily tickets is 95 krone, while weekly tickets cost 335 krone and tickets valid for 10 times cost 555 krone. Skyss bus tickets need to be purchased at the ticket sales points at the airport.
Taxi
In general, it is not possible to use taxis in Bergen, where taxis are expensive, at distances less than 300 meters. A more expensive fare for night travels and weekends is valid in Bergen in the taxis, which is a quick way to go from airport to city.
