Due to excessive rainfall in the tropical climate, forests are abundant, limiting agricultural land. Nonetheless, there has been significant development in the tourism and construction sectors in recent years.
Papua New Guinea generally experiences a hot and humid climate. From May to December is rainy and cool, while January to April sees extremely hot weather. The best time to visit the country is between June and September.
Papua New Guinea offers a variety of traditional foods and beverages. Must-try flavors include beef, roasted sweet potatoes, and banana cake. Additionally, Muli Warra is one of their most famous local drinks.
