Transportation to Adana Airport from the City Center

Adana, which is the largest city in Mediterranean and Eastern Anatolia regions, is the Turkey’s fifth largest city that is connected to the world through Şakirpaşa Airport, which is located in Seyhan district. It is very easy to get to the airport which is 5km away from Yüreğir district, Kayalıbağ and Reşatbey neighborhoods which are accepted as the city center.

Municipality Buses

You can reach the airport from the city center by bus number 135, which runs hourly between 6 am and 7 pm every day from the airport and Çukurova University points. You can get on the bus through the Turhan Cemal Beriker Boulevard in the city center as well as you can do so by transferring through the city’s only metro line ‘Akıncılar-Hospital’.

Minibus – Dolmush

Airport Information

Sakirpaşa Airport is also open to international flights; the International Terminal, which has a capacity of 6 million passengers, came into service in 1997 and the Domestic Terminal came into service in 1984. Despite the potential of the passengers, the airport offers limited facilities to spend time.

For the passengers who use the international terminal, there are two restaurants and two buffets, one of which is in the clean area as well as a duty-free shop. There is a buffet in the domestic terminal and a café in the clean area. Transportation to Athens City Center from Airport

The journey to the city centre should take around an hour. Once you are at the 16th stop, Evangelismos Hospital, you can take either walk, or take the 732 bus for three stops, to reach Sintagma Square.

You can also reach various areas in Athens from the airport by taking buses 54, 608, 622, 732, and 815.

Train – Metro

There is also a train line going directly to Port Pire from the airport.
