Things you should know before landing

You have probably come across on some flights, passengers start clapping as soon as the pilot landed the plane. The reason for this, as I shared in another article in which I explained what you should know before take-off, is that passengers’ fear of plane travel intensifies during the take-off and landing stages. The smooth landing of the plane makes everyone happy.

Certain rules should be followed to ensure in-flight safety and to prevent health problems that may occur during landing. Paying attention to these rules will also reduce your fears about the plane.

Landing

It is the process that starts with the pilot notifying that the plane will land and then cabin crews stating that everyone needs to take their seats. Passengers should not walk around standing and must be seated. With the landing announcement, passengers should be certain that their seat back is straight up and their seatbelts are fastened tightly. Windows should be open and the front tables should be stowed. Electronic devices must be turned off completely. As the plane descends, it is quite natural that there will be tremors. Since the plane is waiting for landing permission from the tower during this process, it can wait for the landing queue by drawing circles. You don't have to worry about that.

After Landing

Passengers should not unfasten their seat belts until an audible warning comes from the plane screens. Passengers should not stand up and open their mobile devices. Unfortunately, many people immediately turn their phones as soon as the plane lands. By doing that, these people endanger the safety of the plane. After the plane lands, it goes for a long distance on its wheels to slow down and arrive at the planned section. The landing must be completed smoothly for the flight to end, so please wait patiently.

According to statistics, ear congestion usually occurs during the landing phase. It is good to ensure that you are not asleep and that if you have children with you, be sure that they are also awake during the landing so that you can be aware of ear congestion and/or similar pressure-related problems.

Complying with the warnings during landing is enough for a nice flight. Since flying is the most reliable form of travel, you can easily travel by plane. Have a good flight.
