You can easily reach Trabzon Airport by airport buses departing from the city center or Havaş shuttles whose departure times are changing according to flight schedules. In order to take Havaş shuttle, you have to go to Beşirli Orhan Oil, Karşıyaka Crossroad, Ziraat Bank, Tanjant Migros or Kipa. You can also use the Çimenli or Yomra buses that pass through the airport.

Having been operating for more than 50 years, Trabzon Airport has been renewed and started to serve both domestic and international flights. Edinburgh Airport is an international airport serving the city, located 12 km away. You can get to the city center from the airport by taxi, tram, or Airlink. You can also rent a car from the airport to get to the city center.

A taxi to the city center from the airport takes about 25 minutes. Taxis are available at the ground level across from the main terminal building. However, taking a taxi can be quite expensive so it isn’t a highly preferred method of transportation.
