Luhansk International Airport was an international airport offering service to the city of Luhansk in Ukraine. The airport was located 20 kilometers south of the city center and 9 kilometers away from the city border. The airport was officially closed on 11 June 2014 after being significantly damaged during the war in Donbass.

There is only one airport in Lugansk, one of the smallest cities in the country, located in the eastern part of Ukraine, on the Russian border. The distance between Lugansk International Airport and the city center is 19 kilometers, and there are several alternatives to provide your transportation between the airport and the city center.

Renovated in the last few years Lugansk International Airport is one of the best designed airports of Ukraine. The airport has a total of two floors. There is a cafe where you can spend time, TVs where you can watch local news, ticket offices where you can by airline tickets to Kiev and Moscow, ATM machines, and a VIP area where you can relax while waiting for your flight time.
