If you want to reach the airport from Palandöken Ski Resort, you can get on the bus G-5 which depart hourly and get to the Station Square within an average of forty-five minutes.

Train

The train can also be preferred as an alternative way of reaching the city center from districts. You can spend your time in a comfortable and warm environment in the specially decorated waiting room while waiting for the buses to depart from the Station Square to the airport.

There is not a special shuttle service which provides transportation to Erzurum Airport such as HAVAŞ, however, you can easily benefit from the shuttle services arranged by the Public Transportation Directorate of the Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality. You can take advantage of these shuttle services which are arranged based on the hours of flight.

The shuttles departing from the Station Square reach Erzurum Airport by passing through the stops at Gez Mahallesi, Hastaneler Caddesi, Kız Meslek Lisesi (Girls’ Vocational School), Municipality, Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Sports Facilities, Erzurum Technical University and Bus Terminal. The journey to the airport takes about 20 minutes under normal traffic conditions.

Rent a car

One of the most practical options to reach Erzurum Airport is to rent a car. There are plenty of car rental companies that you can easily reach whether you are at the airport, in Palandöken, or near the city center. In addition to renting a car from these companies, you can enjoy your journey by demanding VIP services that offer comfortable options such as plasma television and internet access.

Airport Information

Erzurum Airport has both domestic and international terminals. Both domestic and international terminals have restaurants, PTT post offices, sales stands, luggage packing machines, two buffets, the ATMs of the Vakıfbank and the İş Bank and three Rent a Car offices; in addition to these facilities, the international terminal also has a Duty-Free shopping store.

The entrance and exit gates of the terminals and interior decoration have been specially designed to facilitate the accessibility of the disabled passengers.

Municipal Buses

You can reach the city center by riding on the municipality bus number 135 departing from Şakirpaşa Airport, which is located in Seyhan district, the most crowded district of Adana. You can reach the city center, Çukurova University and Turhan Cemal Beriker Boulevard connecting to Girne Boulevard by bus which you can take from the bus stops at the airport.

It is also possible to take the bus number 135 to reach the metro stations running on Akıncılar-Hospital route. The buses run hourly between 6 am and 7 pm every day and departs from the airport and Çukurova University simultaneously.

Minibus – Dolmush

At the airport, you can benefit from the minibus and dolmush transportation, which departs at shorter intervals compared to bus; it is a more preferred option because of the short distance from the airport to the city center. There are two minibus lines as Airport-City Center and Meydan (Square) carrying passengers to the city center. It would not be wrong to say that minibuses and dolmush pass through in a few minutes in both directions.

Taxi

You can also take a taxi at Şakirpaşa Airport to reach the city center along the Seyhan River.  Taxi is not an expensive option, because the airport is close to the city center.

Car

Adana Şakirpaşa Airport also offers various possibilities for those who wish to travel by their own cars in the city. There are 9 car rental offices at the airport including 5 at the Domestic Terminal and 4 at the International Terminal.

The airport also has an outdoor parking area with 569 cars capacity. If you drive through Turhan Cemil Beriker Boulevard following the Barış Boulevard at the exit of the airport, this route leads you to Sabancı Mosque, Girne Boulevard, Yüreğir Coach Station and Adana Archeology Museum in the city center.
