Bursa Yenişehir Airport, which is 50 kilometers from the city center, was firstly opened as a military airport in Yunuseli neighborhood and then, the airport served for cargo planes. The airport has been opened to civil air traffic in 2001.

Because, it is 90km from Koca Seyit Airport to the city center and taking a taxi can cost a pretty penny. There are also special services provided by some tour companies at the airport.
