Transportation from the City Center to the Airport:

The distance between the Aleppo Airport and the city center is short. However, since the airport is currently closed for commercial flights, you can use the closest airports to Aleppo, which are Hatay Airport and Gaziantep Airport. From these airports, you can rent a car and within 2-3 hours you can reach Aleppo city center. At Gaziantep Airport, there are seven car rental companies, both local and international and at Hatay Airport there are three local car rental companies. 

Also, some companies provide shuttle services to Aleppo from both airports; but lately, these companies have temporarily suspended their services.

Aleppo Airport has a history of almost 100 years and over the years, has been expanded and restored many times. The airport consists of 4 floors and it is located 7 kilometers from the city center. This airport is temporarily closed to commercial flights since 2011 and there is no clear date for its reopening.

Murtala Muhammed Airport, which is a very modern and big airport, is only 22 kilometers from Lagos. You can get information about public transportation at the airport and it is practical and easy to take advantage of private services such as shuttle services, car rental or taxi.

In addition to these, Lagos buses, which provide active access and frequent services, also provide transportation from the airport. In Lagos, where there is no developed public transport network, buses, taxis, rental cars and motorbikes are the main means of transportation.

Bus

If you choose Yellow Taxi, you can go to the city center of Lagos from the airport for a fee of 29 Dollars. The price that other taxi companies charge for this trip is around 6.000 Nigerian Naira.

Car Rental

If you stay in Lagos longer than a couple of days, the most economical way of transportation is to rent your own car. It is possible that you will encounter multiple car rental companies both in the city and at the terminal of Murtala Muhammed Airport.
