Taxi is one of the fastest and most economical ways to get to the airport from the city center. You can reach the airport at an affordable price by taxi from the many parts of Adana, though it is not as cheap as taking a bus.

Sakirpaşa Airport is also open to international flights; the International Terminal, which has a capacity of 6 million passengers, came into service in 1997 and the Domestic Terminal came into service in 1984. Despite the potential of the passengers, the airport offers limited facilities to spend time.

For the passengers who use the international terminal, there are two restaurants and two buffets, one of which is in the clean area as well as a duty-free shop. There is a buffet in the domestic terminal and a café in the clean area. You can also get to the city center from the airport by using a shuttle service offered to you by the hotel you are staying at. Hotels offer transfer vehicles with a chauffeur, providing comfortable transportation directly from the airport to your hotel.
