Sakirpaşa Airport is also open to international flights; the International Terminal, which has a capacity of 6 million passengers, came into service in 1997 and the Domestic Terminal came into service in 1984. You can reach the city center from Şanlıurfa GAP Airport through the HAVAŞ buses. You can arrive at the city center after a comfortable journey that takes about 45 minutes by HAVAŞ buses. HAVAŞ shuttle buses depart from the airport 25 minutes after your plane lands and follow a route consisting of Tevhide Hatun Lisesi, Karaköprü Ismar, Karaköprü BIM, Otogar Kavşağı, DSI Durağı and Avşaroğlu Petrol.
