Taxi is one of the fastest and most economical ways to get to the airport from the city center. You can reach the airport at an affordable price by taxi from the many parts of Adana, though it is not as cheap as taking a bus.
Sakirpaşa Airport is also open to international flights; the International Terminal, which has a capacity of 6 million passengers, came into service in 1997 and the Domestic Terminal came into service in 1984. Despite the potential of the passengers, the airport offers limited facilities to spend time.
For the passengers who use the international terminal, there are two restaurants and two buffets, one of which is in the clean area as well as a duty-free shop. There is a buffet in the domestic terminal and a café in the clean area. Besides, you can enjoy the famous tastes of Adana by leaving the airport, which is 4.5 kilometers away from the city center or you can spend your time in the city before going to the airport.Last Updated: December 19, 2016
JFK Airport is located in Queens, about 20 km from Manhattan. There are many transportation methods to get from the airport to various parts of the city. You can take the metro, train, bus, taxi, rental car, or use an airport shuttle service. You can easily get to public transportation hubs by taking the AirTrain trains that depart from the airport. AirTrain trains provide transportation within the airport for free. However, if you want to go to the main stations that allow access to the city’s metro, bus, and train lines, then you have to pay a fee. You can pay this fee using the MetroCard payment system, which is valid for all public transportation networks in the city. You can get a MetroCard from the automated ticket machines at the airport.
To get to the New York City Subway from the airport you have to first get on the AirTrain. There is an AirTrain station located in each passenger terminal, making the train easy to access. Metro line A, which runs through Howard Beach Station, provides transportation to lower Manhattan.
