Sakirpaşa Airport is also open to international flights; the International Terminal, which has a capacity of 6 million passengers, came into service in 1997 and the Domestic Terminal came into service in 1984. You can reach the center of the capital, Male, after a 10 minute ride with the ferry that Male Airport is holding ready for its passengers.
